Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

Community Simcha (operated by Simcha Labs LLC) sends text messages only to registered members who provided their own mobile number and agreed to receive texts.

Consent

By providing your number, you agree to receive text messages from Community Simcha, including login codes and campaign notices. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.

How members opt in

Members provide their mobile number when creating an account at communitysimcha.com, or when claiming a pre-loaded account set up by their community admin, and actively check a consent box at that point. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only for Community Simcha and are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

How members opt in by text (keyword)

Members can also opt in by texting JOIN to our text number. The flow works like this:

  1. Member texts: “JOIN” to our Community Simcha number.
  2. Community Simcha responds: “Welcome to Community Simcha texts! You'll receive login codes, chip-in confirmations, and community simcha notices. Message frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms: communitysimcha.com/terms Privacy: communitysimcha.com/privacy Reply Y to confirm.”
  3. Member texts: “Y”
  4. Community Simcha confirms: “You're all set! Community Simcha texts are on. Reply STOP anytime to unsubscribe, HELP for help.”

Message types

  • One-time login/verification codes
  • New simcha chip-in campaign notifications
  • Chip-in reminders and confirmations
  • Two-way replies that let members chip in by replying to a text

Sample messages

  1. “Community Simcha: Your verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.”
  2. “Community Simcha: A new chip-in is open for a member's simcha. Chip in here: https://communitysimcha.com . Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
  3. “Community Simcha: You're in for your chip-in — thank you! Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.”
