Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CommunitySimcha platform (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What CommunitySimcha does

CommunitySimcha helps communities, shuls, and groups organize gift campaigns (“Campaigns”) for members celebrating a simcha. Members can chip in toward a shared gift, and community admins and partners help coordinate fulfillment.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Accounts are personal; do not share them.

3. Community roles

The Service includes different roles, such as members, community admins, partners, and super admins. Each role has access appropriate to its responsibilities. Community admins manage their own community’s members and campaigns. Super admins oversee platform-wide settings.

4. Payments

Chip-ins are processed through third-party payment providers. CommunitySimcha does not store full credit card numbers. All payment terms, fees, and refunds are handled according to the settings chosen by the super admin and the policies of the payment provider.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Harass, impersonate, or mislead other users.
• Attempt to access data or accounts that do not belong to you.
• Interfere with the security or performance of the Service.
• Upload malware, spam, or other harmful content.

6. Content and data

You retain ownership of the information you submit. By using the Service, you grant CommunitySimcha the limited right to use that information to operate, support, and improve the Service for your community.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if your conduct creates risk for the platform or other users. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting help@communitysimcha.com.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CommunitySimcha’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you did not pay us.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
